| Rumor: Dan Radcliffe in the running for Bilbo Baggins |
Director Guillermo del Toro recently spoke with IGN about when the lead role in The Hobbit. In the course of calling all the rumors false, he listed Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe as one of the actors who has not yet gotten the role, leading many to believe he is, indeed, in the running for this most sought-after part. | James McAvoy tipped for Hobbit role |
Scottish actor James McAvoy has been tipped to take the lead role in the new movie version of Lord Of The Rings prequel The Hobbit. Director Guillermo del Toro is due to begin filming in New Zealand later this year. Sir Ian McKellen will reprise his role as Gandalf and McAvoy is rumoured to be the favourite to take the lead role of hobbit Bilbo Baggins. [more...]
