Brisingr tops Amazon Canada books list
On the list of the 10 best selling fiction books for this week from Amazon.ca, Brisingr: Inheritance, Book III by Christopher Paolini came in at number 1. Number 4 on the list is The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling, which isn't even available yet, it comes out on December 4. [more...]

Bookstore predicts Brisingr will be as popular as Harry Potter
Brisingr will be 'met with near Harry Potter-style demand' when it goes on sale on Sept 20, according to Waterstone's. More than 15 million copies have been sold of the first two books worldwide. New Eragon book gets midnight release
The third volume of Christopher Paolini's "Inheritance" fantasy series, coming out this fall, will have a Harry Potter-like midnight opening. Knopf will release "Brisingr" on Saturday, Sept. 20, with a first printing of 2.5 million. [more...]

Eragon series now four books
It was announced today that the Inheritance Trilogy is the Inheritance Trilogy no more - a forth, full-length novel has been added to the Trilogy, expanding Eragon and Saphira's adventures. In addition to the announcement of a fourth book in the series, the release date has been announced for the third book, which still remains un-named: September 23, 2008. [more...]

Eragon soared to the top spot at the international box office as the family-friendly adventure's foreign launch grabbed a respectable $30.3 million at 6,128 playdates in 53 markets.
