Rumor: Madam Maxime is french actress Audrey Tatou Several Harry Potter fan websites are reporting this afternoon that UK newspaper The Express has printed the following story: Harry Potter giant Hagrid has found his mate - in Amelie actress Audrey Tatou. The French beauty is in final negotiations to star in Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire as school mistress Madame Maxine, an 8 ft giantess who steals the heart of Hagrid, played by Robbie Coltrane. My source says: "Madame Maxine is this huge ugly giant whom everyone else finds terrifying. But the gag is that when Hagrid looks at her, all he sees is the beautiful Audrey Tatou."  Audrey Tatou This information is not official, and the description of how Madame Maxime will appear differently to Hagrid than everyone else in the movie sounds a little fishy.
